Mendoza is the main urban centre of the area and the fourth city of importance of the country. Amidst the desert of western Argentina, it is an oasis with water channels that cross the entire city, carefully designed by ancient tribes. In the Thays Park, right in the centre of the town, the traditional Fiesta de la Vendimia (vintage festival) is held every year.
Along the Atuel River towards the south stands San Rafael, famous for its production of wines and champagnes as well as for various outdoor sports that can be practiced in the area of Great Valley (rappel, rafting, Tyrolese and horseback riding among others).
Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival at Mendoza (airport or bus station), reception and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights with breakfast.
Day 02: Start: We will leave Mendoza city and head to our base, located in Blanco Encalada, only 35 minutes away from here. This place has a magnificent view due to its 1.400 meters above sea level
Activity: Once in the base the guides will give a security instruction to all the passengers, regarding the safest and funniest way to enjoy this adventure. Then we will start our journey through the mendocinian foothills (pedemonte) and mountains. This activity also includes a regional breakfast (mates and tortitas). After the great ride, we will go to Cava de Cano, a boutique winery, where we will taste their own production of Syrah wine and enjoy a great lunch with all kind meals and regional delicatessen.
Starts at 09.00 Hs aprox, returns 17.00 Hs aprox.

Recommendations: You should wear comfortable clothes, sun screen, long pants and raincoat
Day 03: Start: We will leave Mendoza city heading to Potrerillos. This area is beautiful place in the middle of the High Andes.
Activity: Each passenger will have his own neoprene suit, life vest and helmet. After a security instruction will go into the river to start the adventure. The great white waters of the Mendoza River guarantee the fun of the day!!. Consists almost having 4 hours in the water!
Starts at 09.00 Hs aprox, returns 18.00 Hs aprox.
Including: Bilingual guide, special equipment, full lunch, safety kayak and neoprene
Recommendations: Take 2 different clothing and sun screen.
Day 04: Morning at leisure. Return to Mendoza and transfer to the airport or bus station to head back to Buenos Aires.
